Hokan is a software development company that is building a one-stop-shop solution for financial institutions who want to use and provide crypto financial services.
Hokan has developed the Hokan Platform, which is the software platform through which these crypto services are provided. The Hokan platform currently provides a crypto custody solution, which is the main building block on top of which all other services will be built. The custody service provides the digital equivalent to a bank’s vault and / or safety deposit boxes.
The hokan custody platform has been built in-house from the ground up; at its core, a Secure Multi Computation solution, which implements Threshold Signature Schemes.
Hokan was born from the idea to distribute responsibility and control of keys outside of Hokan, remaining faithful to avoiding the crypto industry ownership trap: “not your keys, not your crypto”. Hokan, for custody, aims at being the orchestrating engine for N of M custody for the next generation of blockchains and applications: Defi, NFT, Metaverse.
